Founded in 2012 by a working veterinarian, PawCare Elite has grown into three flagship campuses across Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico — without compromising the care that defined us on day one.
PawCare started in 2012 as a 1,200 sq ft grooming salon on a quiet block in Scottsdale. Anya — a working veterinarian — was tired of seeing pets come into her clinic stressed and disregulated from a poorly-run grooming experience. She opened her own.
Within three years it had outgrown the storefront. Members kept asking if we could board their pets, walk their pets, see their pets for routine wellness. So we did — but only after we had figured out how to do each one properly.
Today we operate three flagship campuses, employ six on-staff DVMs, and care for over 12,000 pet families across the Southwest. The hardest thing about growing has been protecting the things that made the original salon work: handlers paid for outcome, no overflow days, the calm.
Quiet rooms, soft lighting, low handler turnover. Pets perform best — health-wise and behaviorally — when they feel safe.
Our handlers are paid for outcome, not pets-per-hour. We build the schedule around the pet, never the other way around.
Air filtration, sanitation protocols, dietary handling — all to the same standard our DVMs would expect for a clinic.
Whoever your pet bonded with on day one stays with them through every visit. No shift handoffs, no anonymous care.
A single grooming salon in Scottsdale, Arizona — opened by founder Anya Linnett, DVM.
Two on-site DVMs join the Scottsdale campus. The same-day-for-members policy starts here.
Our first expansion — a full-service campus serving the Las Vegas valley.
A milestone we still celebrate. The repeat-booking rate is what really matters.
Our newest campus — adobe-style, mountain-view boarding, and smaller daycare groups by design.
Book a complimentary 90-minute meet-and-greet. Tour the campus, meet your handlers, and get a sense of the everyday rhythm.
